"Drone Dance" was conceived while I was working with AK Hobbs and A Pagliari on 2 Minute Techno. In point of fact, the earliest version of the track was created for the "Conspiracy of Three" project we did. The project fizzled and the title "Drone Dance" remained in my mind. I tried taking a stab at the track some time later, only to be disappointed with the product. When I began work on "Circuit of Heaven", I revisited the concept, salvaged what I could, and moved forward with the track. Two mixes emerged and I was unable to decide which one was the "album version." So both were included with monikers that helped me keep their differing sounds straight in my mind.
